Ms. Rathbone is a Partner of the insurance subrogation firm of Rathbone Group, LLC. Her education background includes a B.A. from The Ohio State University, Telecommunications, 1996 and a J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, 2001, where she graduated with honors, received the CALI award in Legal Writing, and attended on the Max Ratner Scholarship and the Nurenberg, Plevin, Heller & McCarthy Endowed Scholarship in Law. She also attended the Weatherhead School of Management's executive education program at Case Western Reserve University in 2009.

Ms. Rathbone is admitted to the Ohio State Bar, the Northern District of Ohio Federal Court and the 6th and 7th Circuit Courts of Appeals. She worked as a production assistant and sports reporter for television news and commercials for three television stations for three years before law school. After law school, she was employed by Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease as a corporate litigator and subrogation attorney for three years. Subsequently, she led the insurance subrogation practice at Javitch, Block & Rathbone, LLC for ten years. In 2014, she left JBR to form the new law firm of Rathbone Group, LLC.

She was Editor-in-Chief of the Cleveland State Law Review while in Law School and has been published in the Journal of Law and Health, the Smart Business Network, The Subrogator, and the Cleveland Bar Journal. Ms. Rathbone has also written for the National Association of Subrogation Professionals' CSRP curriculum. Her past speaking engagements include speaking nationally on Increasing Recoveries Through Managing High Volume Litigation at the National Association of Subrogation Professionals' 2010 Conference, on Handling High Volume Small Balance Subrogation Claims at the National Association of Subrogation Professionals' 2006 Conference, and on Respondeat Superior Versus Independent Contractor concepts at the 2007 conference, Handling Resistant Uninsured Tortfeasors in a webinar in 2014, and speaking locally on Successfully Managing and Growing a Family Business in 2009, and on Conflicts of Interest at the Ohio NASP Chapter in 2006. She received Inside Business' Top 25 Under 35 award in 2006, was one of Inside Business' One to Watch in 2009, and was recognized as one of Ohio's Rising Stars in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
